The Program will cover:

 

  • Trauma-specific Knowledge on Developmental Trauma / Complex Trauma/ Relational Trauma  and Interventions for working with Adults and Children who suffer from the impact of trauma or are especially vulnerable

  • Resource-oriented Skills from Psychotherapy and Trauma Pedagogy

  • Resilience for the prevention of Emotional Disorders

  • Competencies for a good Self-care practice: Working with trauma is emotional engagement while staying stable

  • Modul 1: Attachment and Safe Relationships 

  • Modul 2: Trauma and Stabilising

  • Modul 3: Emotion Regulation and Toxic Relationships

  • Trauma-related Psychosocial Assessment

  • Knowledge, Attitude and Skills - equally important, and part of every step of the program

  • Attachment patterns and influence on relationships with Self, at Home, in Society, and Teams

  • Trauma and Neurobiological foundations

  • Mindfulness skills for transformation and an attuned relationship with self

  • The Trauma centred Helping Process to feel seen, heard, and emotionally understood 

  • Emotion, Brain and Body in the Healing process 

  • Stabilising practice + growing Aliveness 

  • Self-care: Closeness and distance with Self and Others, Compassion Fatigue and Satisfaction

 

Skills you will you have after the Program:

 

  • You will have trauma related competencies for helping others

  • You will better understand mental injuries, reactions and behaviours of people with trauma experience

  • You will be able to reduce stressful moments through resource-oriented, stabilising interventions

  • You will have competence for your Personal Growth and Self-care

  • You can ask for and involve support from Peers and Professionals

  • You will get transformed to be able to build Trauma-safe Relationships with Self and Others at home, in Institutions, Teams and Communities

Traumapädagogik und Traumazentrierte Fachberatung (DeGPT), Wholeness Framework (Dr. John Warlow), NARM - Neuro Affective Relationship Model (Dr. Laurence Heller), Dr. K.-H. Brisch, Psychiatrist Bessel van der Kolk, Dr. Daniel Siegel 

Credits and Learning transfer: 

  • Life / direct Teacher interaction

  • 100 Learning hours (1 LE = 50 minutes) of Life-online Classroom

  • One on one Counselling Session

  • 100 hours to deepen learning and application:

  • Participants Learning Groups for Personal Growth

  • Reading/Writing Assignments

  • Skill Practice

 

 

Certificate & Pathway & Title:

 

Level 1:

You will receive the Certificate of Attendance (Semester 1 & 2), issued by CLS:

TRAUMA CARE TRAINING PROGRAM

Level 2:

Now you can continue  with the Mid Level Trauma Transformation Counselling Skills (Semester 3 & 4)

Level 3:

Followed by the Advanced Level NARM informed Trauma Transformation Counselling

(Semester 5 & 6)

At the end of the 6 Semester Trauma Transformation Program you will be awarded 

the Title of:

TRAUMA TRANSFORMATION COUNSELLOR

 

Requirement for Attendance:

  •         You are actively involved with people as a Learner, Social Worker, Carer, Teacher, NGO staff,              Volunteer, Foster or Adoptive parent, Occupational Therapist, Counsellor or in another related          role

  •         You are motivated and willing to self-reflect and grow in your attitudes, skills and knowledge

  •         You have a computer and a quiet and uninterrupted space/room for attending the Online-Life          Classes
